Lehigh Hillel celebrates Judaism and cultivates a vibrant Jewish student life at Lehigh, empowering students to deepen their connection to the Jewish community and Israel.
We work closely with the Office of Jewish Student Life to offer a variety of programs and events throughout the year — Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, social events, and educational opportunities.
Our mission is to enrich the lives of Jewish students at Lehigh by fostering a strong sense of community, promoting Jewish culture and values, and providing opportunities for personal growth and leadership development.
The Lehigh Jewish Student Center is a place where someone pulls a chair out for you at the dinner table before you've even walked through the door. It's a place where engaging in meaningful conversations with anyone and everyone around you is of the essence, somewhere that any given person's positive experience is integral to that of everyone else's.
The Office of Jewish Student Life and Lehigh Hillel is a place and a community where Jewish students can be unapologetically themselves and proud of their Judaism. The Office of Jewish Student Life and Lehigh Hillel have given me a welcoming, kind, and supportive community to come back to again and again.
I love Hillel because there's such a strong sense of community. We're bound by our Jewish identity, not necessarily how we practice. I also love how open Hillel is to people of all backgrounds, Jewish and non-Jewish as well.
